FORGOTTEN
by Sara Herrera Diaz

Why fool the one known?
Easily forgotten but still care.
I see you never but in everyone.
I hide behind my shadows, shadows

you don't free. In the cell of the
forgotten lost in you I stay.
Kept prisoned, forgot you cared,
threw away memories key and never

knew me. Solid prison has kept
the truth from me, betraying the trust
that now flows interrupted.
Ignorance and loneliness has dwelt

within you and has fed my pleads.
Deal with yourself, let me breath my
freedom, open your subconscious
door and let me go.

Half-Blink Thought for the Day

"For God so loved the world
that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him
shall not perish but have eternal life."
[John 3:16]

Through the crimson deserts of time,
and life's half blink dawn bursting diamonds in the sky,
the raindrops are Heaven's tears dripping over us all
like a warm blanket for the soul
washing us clean from every Sin.
