Want a bra with a Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) locator, heart rate monitor, and cell phone transmitter? London art student Kursty Groves has developed a prototype "Techno Bra" which, with its onboard technology, will automatically notify law enforcement of bodily attacks on its wearer. Under attack, the wearer's heart beats with a distinct pattern, triggering the cell phone to call police and provide the exact location with the GPS.
Also on its way: Breast enhancement without surgery. A battery operated vacuum bra is reported by the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. It removes air from the bra cups, so that the breasts are sucked forward. Fifteen women report an increase of one cup size in ten weeks of testing.
