McClure and la frontera (The New Frontier Band) is booking tours from Nashville, Tennessee specializing in dance, event, and club entertainment. La frontera features close harmony vocals and diverse acoustic instrumentation and plays Western swing, TexMex, and country. (80's, 70's, 60's and classics; See song list.)

McClure's Internet hit single "ALIEN LOVE (I Made Love To An Alien Last Night)" is in his latest "CHAMPAGNE SATURDAY" album, on JIP (Just Iss Planetary) records nashville. "CHAMPAGNE SATURDAY" is hot pop Western Swing and Latin swing jazz melded with McClure's distinctive style. ["Highly recommended..." - Western Swing Monthly, WVOF-FM; "No disputing the musicianship... ...Intriguing..." - Country Music People; "Solid..." - Bluegrass Unlimited]

McClure's performances are visually appealing and hi-energy. Establishing a special rapport with the audience and singing and playing with conviction and soul are trademarks of his shows. Layered harmonies and tight rhythmic intensity are de rigueur.

McClure & la frontera appears as up to a ten-piece act with female vocalist(s), horns, steel guitar, and fiddle on top of a rhythm section providing the sophistication of Latin and swing jazz with the hard drive of country rock and bluegrass. The group is based in Nashville, Tennessee. McClure toured Houston, San Antonio, Tampa, and more cities in 1999, and logged 180 performances in 1996. McClure & la frontera, with a Fan Club of over 2000 members, is fast building a national following from Texas and Kansas east to Maryland and Florida. Catch their latest show!

The National Library of Poetry published McClure's "(trauma,)" in Outstanding Poets of 1998 and his "grey-green skies" poem in The Ever-Flowing Stream anthology 1997. George appeared on TNN Country News September 19, 1994 (under the name S.G.Miller), singing and playing his "CottonPatch Blues" and speaking in an interview. He was featured in a Nashville Banner article (July 22,1994) on "The Ballad of O.J.Simpson", one of his songs. McClure acted in Paramount's "The Thing Called Love", filmed in Nashville fall 1992, and recorded an album of original and old-time country music, "Sunny Summer Blues", also in fall 1992. (BU said "...a lot to enjoy".)
